２０２２年７月１７日～２２日にアメリカ合衆国ネバダ州ラスベガス市で行われた米国機械学会圧力容器及び配管部門(American Society of Mechanical Engineers' (ASME) Pressure Vessels & Piping Division (PVPD))主催の国際会議 ASME PVP2022において、国際学生論文コンペティション（PVP 2022 - Rudy Scavuzzo Student Paper Competition）が開催され、吉田祐一さん（社会人博士後期課程）の論文が博士課程部門（Ph.D. Category）で最優秀学生論文賞（the Outstanding Student Paper）に選出されました。
